Family Caregiver

 

Most programs at Ethos are focused on the elder and their needs. The Family Caregiver program is directed at the needs of the caregiver and supporting them in their role. Caregiver support may be a focus group, an individual visit or telephone call. The topics can be as wide ranging as appropriate activities for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease to finding a hairdresser who will make home visits. The family caregiver advisor works with caregivers who live in southwest Boston or who care for someone who lives in southwest Boston. Our philosophy is that all of us will be a caregiver at some point during our lifetime and our goal is to make it less stressful for the caregiver and the recipient.
