Project Giving Kids provides a user-friendly site that connects kids with age appropriate activities that help them give back to their communities – including ours!
Project Giving Kids was created by Molly Yuska to help kids find volunteer activities that are fun and convenient, allowing them to get involved with their community.
Kids can head to the PGK website and find instructions on how to brighten an isolated seniors’ day by making cards to be sent out with Ethos’ Home Delivered Meals. Through the PGK site, volunteers have donated over 150 hours of service to making cards that brighten a senior’s day! Watch the above video for a chance to learn more about PGK watch kids making cards for Ethos.
Check out Project Giving Kids’ upcoming event, Create the Change, at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center on October 30 for a day of entertainment, food, music and volunteer activities!
