Southwest Boston Senior Services d/b/a Ethos is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting independence, dignity and well-being among the elderly and disabled through quality, affordable and culturally-appropriate home and community-based care. Our mission is to help elders remain in their own home for as long as possible.

The Care Management Department assesses elders’ ability to care for themselves, creates care plans and implements them using our vendors. It hosts the city-wide Long Term Care Ombudsmen Program and the Boston Money Management Program. Ethos provides Home Delivered Meals to homebound elders. The AgeWell West Roxbury Program provides services and resources that help elders age in place.
