Caring for someone who identifies as LGBTQ+ or being an LGBTQ+ caregiver yourself comes with unique challenges and rewards. Ethos is here to help. Starting August 14, 2024, Ethos will host a caregiver support group specifically for the LGBTQ+ community.

The support group will be facilitated by a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with vast experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring professional guidance and support. LGBTQ+ caregivers face specific hurdles, from social isolation and discrimination to balancing work and caregiving responsibilities. This support group will address these issues head-on by:

  • Creating a supportive community where caregivers can share their stories and experiences.
  • Offering tailored resources and guidance to navigate caregiving challenges.
  • Fostering connections that can alleviate feelings of isolation and stress.

This support group aims to fill that gap by providing a space for caregivers to connect and support one another.Join us to enhance your caregiving journey and build a network of understanding peers.
