The support group will be facilitated by a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with vast experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring professional guidance and support. LGBTQ+ caregivers face specific hurdles, from social isolation and discrimination to balancing work and caregiving responsibilities. This support group will address these issues head-on by:
- Creating a supportive community where caregivers can share their stories and experiences.
- Offering tailored resources and guidance to navigate caregiving challenges.
- Fostering connections that can alleviate feelings of isolation and stress.
This support group aims to fill that gap by providing a space for caregivers to connect and support one another.Join us to enhance your caregiving journey and build a network of understanding peers.
