Loren Singer

Loren Singer is the CEO of Ethos and was formerly the Vice President of the Developmental and Cognitive Services Division at Riverside Community Care. At Riverside Community Care, Loren led the strategic vision and daily operations of all services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Under Loren’s leadership, the division has expanded to include forty programs in thirty-seven different locations serving more than two thousand individuals each year.

Loren brings over thirty years of experience in the non-profit sector having previously served as the principal of a residential school for children with autism. Loren, a seasoned senior leader, has extensive experience in the Massachusetts service system and previously worked in New York, where she oversaw programs for at-risk youth and adults with disabilities.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a master’s degree in Sociology and American Studies, Loren is passionate about building relationships and creating spaces where individuals can realize their full potential. Loren has worked with various stakeholders, from grassroots organizations to large foundations, to secure funding partnerships to advance the mission of each organization she was a part of.

Loren lives in Brookline with her wife and teenage son. She is also the bonus mom to two adult children. When not at work, Loren can be found anywhere near the water.

Chief Operating Officer

Margery Gann

Before coming to Ethos Margery Gann, RD, LDN, FADA, was Assistant Professor of Nutrition at Simmons College and was a manager in the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Ms. Gann holds a Master’s of Science in Nutrition and a Master’s of Business Administration. Her publications are in the areas of food safety and quality improvement.

Chief Quality Assurance and Assessment Officer

Kevin McCarthy

Kevin McCarthy is the Chief Quality Assurance and Assessment Officer at Ethos. In this role, he assists the Executive Director and senior staff with the development of analytics and progressive strategies to meet the compliance standards of funding sources including the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, MassHealth, the City of Boston and others. He is also responsible for creating and maintaining Ethos Quality Assurance Plan, Quality Improvement initiatives and is the liaison to EOEA for audit and ASAP re-designation. Mr. McCarthy previously worked at Ethos in the Protective Services and Home Care programs.

Lisa Gioiosa

Lisa Gioiosa is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Ethos. Lisa Gioiosa began working at Ethos in 2003 as the Ethos Benefits Administrator and subsequently was promoted to Senior HR Generalist, HR Director, before holding her current title. She has over 35 years of Human Resources experience in educational, warehouse, and not-for-profit environments. She is HR credentialed as a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and a SHRM-CP (Certified Professional).
