Fall Yard Work Wrap Up!

By December 5, 2017No Comments

This fall over 100 volunteers served over 300 volunteer hours helping 22 seniors with raking, trimming and weeding their yards. We would like to thank the following groups and individuals for all of their hard work, with going above and beyond to assist homebound elders: Henderson Inclusion School, Northeastern University, MIT Sloan, Building Impact, Rapid 7, Centro, Kings Education, Alexa Pozniak, Mat Jacowleff and Jeremy Smith.

All of the seniors greatly appreciate the assistance. Here’s what they said:

“The volunteers were wonderful. They ran out of bags and even went to the store and bought more bags” – Pat

“The boys did a great job and they were so polite. It was a pleasure to have them. Ethos does such a wonderful job for us old people” – Edwin

“They were wonderful and did 14 bags of leaves” – Roberta
