What started out as a website advocating for neighborly connection has sprung into a snow- shoveling program that connects elders in need to their volunteer counterparts.
Neighbors for Neighbors (Neighbors), a site dedicated to connecting neighbors to each other in order to help out launched SnowCrew as another way to connect neighbors to each other.
In August of 2004, after two of Joseph’s Porcelli’s (Founder and Chief Executive Neighbor) neighbors where violently assaulted, Porcelli set out to raise crime prevention awareness in his Jamaica Plain neighborhood, the website states.
